Childish Joy

The natural state of man, the way God created us, is to be happy.

Look at children and you will see.

It can happen that you suddenly feel flooded with light

"Quite unexpectedly, it can happen that you suddenly feel flooded
with light, that all of a sudden you are being projected upward,
all the way to your higher self. You are dazzled by this beauty
and immensity, and it feels as though from this moment on nothing
could bring you down from these heights. Unfortunately, this
doesn’t last. You have to pick up the threads of your everyday
life, with its same worries, its same temptations, its same
weaknesses. You feel cut off from your higher self, like a
fragment cast aside, rejected. Some time later, you again feel
enlightened, illumined, but once again it doesn’t last long, and
you begin to feel discouraged.
No, you must not allow yourself to be discouraged by the
fluctuations in your consciousness. If you persevere in your
spiritual work, one day, after all the highs and lows, the light
that comes to visit you will no longer leave you. You will have
crossed to the other shore, and you will be saved forever."

All of Him

That force that holds electrons in their orbit and planets in theirs, explodes incessantly within the stars above and is the darkness that fills the empty space—-that force is a single whole and it is God.

It is not all of God. It is an expression of God. All of it could disappear in a single instant, and for Him nothing would have changed.

Where is it that you can find all of God? Wherever He wishes to be found.

Right now, He hides within some scattered branches placed upon an autumn hut.

‘The Father and I are one’

"When Jesus said, ‘The Father and I are one’, he was summarizing
the greatest mystery of religion. And one day we too must be able
to say the same words.
Some will say, ‘Yes, but we’re not Jesus. He was the son of God,
whereas we are sinners.’ The Church has tried to make Jesus the
equivalent of God himself, the second person of the trinity, the
Christ, a cosmic principle, thus creating an infinite distance
between him and human beings. But is this the truth? Jesus
himself never said such a thing; he never claimed to be
essentially different from other people. He said he was the son
of God, but he did not claim this divine lineage for himself
alone but emphasized the divine nature of all humans. Otherwise,
what would be the meaning of the phrases ‘Our Father in heaven,’
‘Be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect’ and also ‘The one
who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact,
will do greater works than these’?"

The number 2

"From the point of view of Initiatic Science, the number 2
represents the 1 polarized as positive and negative, masculine
and feminine, active and passive. As soon as there is
manifestation, there is partition, division. In 1 there can be no
creation, because no exchanges are possible. In order to manifest
and make itself known, 1 has to divide. Unity is the privilege of
God himself, his exclusive domain. In order for God, the 1, to
create, he had to become 2.
In order to create, therefore, God projected himself beyond
himself by polarizing, and the universe was born from the
existence of these two poles. The positive pole exerts an
attraction on the negative pole, and vice versa. This is the
mechanism of action and reaction, which activates and sustains
the movement of life. The cessation of this movement would bring
stagnation and death, a return to the state of original
non-differentiation. The first lines from the book of Genesis
reveal that creation proceeded through successive separations. On
the first day of creation, God separated the light from the dark.
On the second day, he separated the waters above from the waters
below. On the third day, he separated the waters from dry land.
The 1 is an entity closed in on itself. To leave this state, this
entity must become 2. "

Explosive Joy

Joy is an overflowing, an explosion. Something enters a person's life for which he could never be prepared and his previously tidy self erupts in song, dance and joy.

Approach the Divine with a calculated mind and there is no window for joy. Embrace the infinite beyond mind and let joy surprise you.

Dance with the Other

As a mother and the baby she holds in her arms, as a father and child, as two in courtship or in marriage, so we are with Him. One chases, the other runs away. One runs away, the other chases. One initiates, the other responds. The other initiates, the one responds. It is a dance, a game, a duet that plays as surely as the pulse of life.

Until one falls away and becomes estranged. Then the other looks and says, "This is not an other. We are one and the same." And so, they return to each other's arms once again.

It is a great mystery, but in estrangement, there is found the deepest bond.

Time Machine

If you could travel back in time, what could you change? The world, its past and its present all belong to the Creator. All is as He wills it to be.

Perhaps you could replay some crucial scenes and distance yourself from the mess that occurred. Perhaps you could jump in and grab credit for some of the good.

But for that, you don’t need a time machine. All you need is to stand right where you are and say, “I messed up. I lost my chance. I learned my lesson and now I will do things differently.”

You will change yourself. You will change your past. You will say, “I am no longer the person who lived in that past.”
In fact, you do have a time machine.

We Are the Child

Your child is not like everyone else; your child is you.

And yet, your child is not you; your child is his own person. A paradox.

Our souls are that paradox—on a greater scale: the nexus between God and His universe, where His own breath becomes His creation.

That is why we are called His children. And we call Him our Father.

God’s Fishing Net

The soul begins in an intimate, essential bond with a Source Beyond All Things. Even as she invests herself into a material world, into a human form, that primordial bond remains imprinted deep within her.

It is that bond that pulls her constantly to return, like a magnet pulling its lost other half. Our incessant search for meaning, all our striving for that which we cannot grasp, all is an expression of this dynamic, this thirst to return.

This desire to return is innate, yet it must be awakened. The soul must first realize she is distant. Return in all its strength and passion is found, therefore, in the soul who has wandered far from her true self and then awakened to recognize she is lost.

We are like the child being pushed on a swing by her father—the further our souls are thrust away, the greater the force of our return.

As well, the drive to return is God’s fishing net. For in its search to reunite with Him, the soul finds God in all the matters of this world. And so, these too are pulled in. And the deeper the descent, the greater the treasure.

Pleading to Exist

Isn’t this strange, that a created being should take part in its own creation? Can a caricature hold the pencil in his artist’s hand? Can the characters of your own story edit your words? Can the figments of your own imagination tell you what to imagine?

Yet here we are, created beings pleading with our Creator, “Grant us life! Good life! Nice things! Be out there, in the open! Get more involved with your world!”

Here we are, in the inner chamber of the Cosmic Mind, where it is determined whether we should be or not be, participating in that decision.

We are created beings, yet there is something of us that lies beyond creation.

God formed Man, but He built Woman.

God formed Man, but He built Woman.

She is the framework of the home in which he lives, the ground on which he builds, his walls and windows upon the world and the roof that stands over his head.

She is the crown that sets him to rule over his world. Without woman, there is no man.

Power of speech

"There is a great deal that could be said about the power of
speech – how it creates forms, how it acts on the psychic and
physical organs not only of those being spoken about but also of
those speaking and of those hearing what is said. Knowing how to
be fair, moderate and precise when we speak is one of the
greatest qualities there is.
We write with a pen, but we also write with our tongue. Our
every word is a letter addressed not only to human beings but to
all the entities living in nature. Regardless of who you are
addressing, you should try to speak with a golden tongue. Yes,
for the human tongue can be made of various materials – lead,
copper, iron, pewter, silver or gold. A golden tongue brings
souls light and peace."

They have banished God into exile

"They have banished God into exile.
They have decreed He is too holy, too transcendent to belong in our world. They have determined He does not belong within the ordinary, in the daily run of things. And so they have driven Him out of His garden, to the realm of prayer and meditation, to the sanctuaries and the secluded places of hermits. They have sentenced the Creator to exile and His creation they have locked in a dark, cold prison. And He pleads, "Let me come back to my garden, to the place in which I found delight when it all began."

Out of diversity is born a perfect harmony.

"We are all individual beings, each with our own life. But we are
not alone; we are part of a whole, and the issue we face is how
to reconcile the demands of our individual life with those of
collective life.
Each individual is special. Cosmic Intelligence created such a
diversity of creatures, and we must not try to put them all on
one level and make them all the same. Everyone has the right to
express their differences, their originality, provided they are
in tune with the whole, as in an orchestra. What a difference
there is in shape, material and sound between the violin, cello,
piano, oboe, flute, harp, trumpet, cymbals and bass drum! But out
of this diversity is born a perfect harmony."
