Human beings should be studied when they are still connected to the cosmic Tree,

"You have just picked a fruit… If you had the equipment for
observing it, you would see it is different from how it was on
the tree, when all the life force coursed through it and it
received sap, to which the whole universe contributed its work.
As soon as you pick it, you cut it off from the cosmic currents.
It is the same with human beings: they should be studied when
they are still connected to the cosmic Tree, whose fruit they
are, because then they are alive, rich and radiant. This is why
science cannot know them – it wants to study humans when they
have been cut or have fallen from the tree of life; it is merely
studying their corpse. You will say, ‘Yes, but at least then you
can dissect them to see what they are made of. Whereas when they
are alive, you can’t.’ Well, precisely; this is proof that you
have to find other ways of studying humans without cutting them
up, so you can study them live and whole. And there are ways!
Once you have them, you will discover all the subtle currents
circulating in humans and connecting them to the whole of the
universe."

A Time of Silence - A parable:

A father answers the questions of his child and they are happy together, in joyful dialogue.

Then the child asks a question, and the father must think deeply -not just for the answer, but to reach to the essence of this answer so he may bring it to the world of his child. For a long while, the father is quiet.

And so, the child becomes anxious and begins to cry. "Father, where are you? Why do you no longer talk to me? Why have you deserted me for your own thoughts?"
And then the father begins to speak, but this time it is the deepest core of his mind that flows into the mind and heart of the child. Such a flow that with this the child, too, may become a father.

The child is us. The time of silence is now.

When the spirit of Man is dark, when the flow gates of Above seem all but sealed, prepare for liberation.

The Journey Home

Afterlife is a very rational, natural consequence of the order of things. After all, nothing is ever lost --even the body only transforms into earth. But nothing is lost.

The person you are is also never lost. It only returns to its source.

If your soul became attached to the material world during its stay here, then it must painfully rip itself away to make the journey back. But if it was only a traveler, connected to its source all along, then its ride home is heavenly.

Mandate Unmasked

As impossible as it sounds, as absurd as it may seem: The mandate of darkness is to become light; the mandate of a busy, messy world is to find oneness.

We have proof: for the greater the darkness becomes and the greater the confusion of life, the deeper our souls reach inward to discover their own essence-core.

How could it be that darkness leads us to find a deeper light? That confusion leads us to find a deeper truth?

Only because the very act of existence was set from its beginning to know its own Author.

As it says, "In the beginning…God said, ‘It shall become light!’"

Retroactive Liberation

(.......)

It is not that there will be no more darkness, no more suffering, that those things shall cease to exist. It will be such an essence-light that darkness itself will become light —-even the darkness and suffering of the past.

Perpetual Freedom

No man can say he is free today because yesterday he was granted freedom.
Freedom is a source of endless energy. Freedom is the power behind this entire universe. Freedom is the force that brings existence out of the void.
You are free when you take part in that endlessness. When you never stand still. When you are forever escaping the confines of today to create a freer tomorrow.

Earned Living

All that can be cherished from this world,
All that makes life worth living,
Is that which is mined from its bowels through your own toil,
Fashioned from its clay by your own craft,
Fired in the kiln of your own heart.

That for which you bruised your hands and wearied your limbs,
For which you beat back the beast inside you,
For which you defied the entire world
The trophies that awaited you at the summit of your most grueling climb.

Oh, how precious, how resplendent a feast, how spectacular a monument,
The life forged with the tools of its own master!

Moralists have heaped so much criticism on women!

"Moralists have heaped so much criticism on women! Among the main
reproaches made is their wish to be beautiful. And yet, it is not
a crime; on the contrary. If women did not seek beauty, they
would have brought generations of terribly ugly children into the
world. It is the mother who passes beauty on to her children; she
is the one who shapes them. This is why, throughout the time she
is carrying them, she must wish for beauty for them. All those
moralists who have condemned a woman’s wish to be beautiful have
not understood that it is the task of a woman, of a mother, to
bring beauty to the earth. Men do not think much about
cultivating beauty – they have other concerns. So if women didn’t
think about it!…
Women are right, therefore, to seek beauty, so that they can
pass it on to their children. They should understand, however,
where and how to look for true beauty, spiritual beauty, so that
one day they may bring heaven down to earth through their
children."

If you are able to no longer rely on the physical presence of those you love, you will preserve your love and your joy forever.

"If you are able to no longer rely on the physical presence of
those you love, you will preserve your love and your joy forever.
You will no longer be subject to circumstances, because you will
live in the only world that is truly real: your inner world, with
which you are one. When you leave your inner world, you feel that
beings and things elude you; you are at the mercy of events.
Do you know how long your loved one will stay with you? No,
perhaps one day he or she will leave. So, try to raise your
consciousness to the higher realms, where circumstances have no
power over you, where the sun of love never sets. Leap into the
light of this eternal sun. While those you love abide within you,
no power in the world can take them from you."

Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov

You do not have the right idea about what is most important to you.

"You do not have the right idea about what is most important to
you. How often you lose your peace! That’s right, you keep giving
away the peace of your soul for nothing, and then when you want
to stand before the Lord you do not have the right inner
expression. Sometimes, you also lend your heart and mind to
dubious activities: what good does that do you? But there is a
hierarchy of values in nature, and from now on you must
distinguish what is essential from what is unimportant. This is
how you will come into possession of your true riches.
In the Gospels we are shown that Jesus possessed this knowledge.
Having fasted for forty days in the desert, he was tempted by the
devil. ‘You are hungry’, Satan said to him. ‘Why do you not
change these stones into bread?… Throw yourself down from the top
of the temple; God will send angels to protect you… See all these
kingdoms: if you bow down before me, I will give them to you…’
But Jesus rejected the devil’s proposals, proving to him that
material advantages were of no interest to him compared to
spiritual possessions."

In time, religions tend to become materialistic

"In time, religions tend to become materialistic: they give
increasing importance to form, and the spirit which once animated
them is eventually lost. Of course, humans are not ready to live
solely in the spirit, in principles; they need to rely on
material forms. But God has not given eternity to form. After a
while, each form becomes old and must be replaced.
Forms are always necessary, in any realm, but they cannot be
made to last indefinitely. This is why heaven periodically sends
initiates, sages, great Masters, to change the religious forms,
but only the forms, never the principles. The principles are
unchanging and are the same in all of humanity’s great religions:
love, wisdom, truth, freedom, sacrifice. Such principles are
unchanging and apply for all eternity."

Distortion Removal

The material world is a place where each thing seems to say, "Here I am and here I always was." —-as though it has no source.
In fact, only the Essence of All Things has no source. He was and is and always will be. This is the truth of what our world is trying to tell us: It is only trying to express —in a distorted way —its own true essence, the Essence of All Things that has no source.
But a time will be when the distortion shall vanish and we shall see nothing but that Essence.
