What's hiding beneath

Unfortunately, most of the time when it comes to people, it’s never just “give” or just “do.” It’s usually, “What am I going to get back?” We’re always thinking about what we’re going to get in return. Doing something totally agenda-free is very difficult for us. If we don’t get exactly what we gave in return, we at least want some kind of acknowledgment. That’s also conditional, and the benefit is temporary, negligible. We need to strive for things that last. The only thing we should want in return is our own Light, our own fulfillment. Meaning, if you are in a relationship, just give and don’t worry what you will get in return. When we give with our whole heart, the energy will come back. It doesn’t make a difference if the returns come from that person or from someone else. What we should be focusing on is the real exchange: that with the Light of the Creator. If we want to be a vessel for the Light, we have to act like the Light. One way to do this is by giving unconditionally. Often we want to give conditionally, but we want people to give to us unconditionally. The universe just doesn’t work that way. If you are conditional, then you will end up with people in your life who are conditional. If we are always looking for what we will get in return, we will be building a home for chaos. If you want to build a place for Light to shine, then give and let go. Release your desire of what you could get back. We have to find the strength to do one-way sharing. Obviously, we cannot continually give to someone who does nothing in return and promote Bread of Shame. But in the normal course, open your heart and give to others without expecting a return. If it comes back from those people, that’s great. We all have agendas, and we have gone through lifetimes of training to conceal them. But by doing so, we’re creating a mask that we want people to see instead of allowing them to see who we really are. Some people have built a turtle shell around themselves; some have built a thin layer; but it’s hard to connect to one another through these barriers. We have to share from the deeper, uncovered, true essence of self.

Would you like to have a life that is rich and full?

"Would you like to have a life that is rich and full? Then accept the idea that nature is alive and intelligent. Yes, not only alive but intelligent, for intelligence is not peculiar to human beings. Of course, some people may find this difficult to accept, but it is important they know that as we change our opinion about nature, so we alter our destiny. Nature is the body of God, and this body is alive and intelligent. This is why we must be extremely careful and respectful towards it and approach it with a sense of the sacred. By considering stones, plants, animals or stars as cells of this living, intelligent body, we also allow ourselves to become more alive and intelligent."

A New Fulfillment For A New Need

The modern person has all the comforts of this world, but we are still unsatisfied – in fact, more so than before. In the past, if a person had a loaf of bread a day, he could not dream of anything more. Compared to that, look at all the things a modern person needs. Yet, is he satisfied? No! And everyone is asking: Why?
Satisfaction is not to be found on the regular, human level, and none of the new toys we get will help. We want to dope ourselves with “stuff,” but the emptiness that surfaces in us comes from a completely different place: our lack of similarity to the Creator. That is why we cannot fulfill it with anything other than the sensation of the Creator!
This emptiness gradually forms inside us and accumulates to a specific measure in order to “explode.” That is when a person comes to understand that he can no longer suppress that emptiness. He has to fulfill it since otherwise his life will seem worse than death. It is impossible to find fulfillment for this desire in this world because it is a need to reveal the Upper World, the Creator!
Yet the body’s protective forces compel us to search for ways to confuse ourselves. People take drugs, alcohol, or fill their lives with empty, fashionable things or trips. Thus, like ostriches, we hide our heads in the sand to escape the problems.
That is how the protective force of our ego operates, wishing to prove to itself that it is fulfilled and to conceal the emptiness that never can be filled. Why think about the things we could never attain anyway and spoil our lives?
But this cannot go on for long! For now we still manage to confuse ourselves on the “animate” level in order to avoid feeling the unfulfilled need on the “human” level. But the cover up will unavoidably blow up.
In different periods throughout history similar states brought about revolutions, wars, and dramatic, tragic solutions. Let us hope that in our case the solution will not be so cruel. In our case, we have to rise from the level of our world, the “animate” degree, to the level of the Upper World, the level of Adam or the Creator. This is not in our power and humanity is starting to go crazy from its own futility.
On our egoistic level it was possible to ascend from one degree to the next by way of revolutions, wars, new regimes or religions, and new technologies such as book printing, the steam engine, the Internet, and so on. All of this provided fulfillment for a certain segment of time, but now egoism has exhausted itself and the need to reveal the Creator demands precisely the spiritual fulfillment. We are revealing a new inner desire: to reveal the One who controls us.

An Honest Talk With The Creator

Laitman.com – Kabbalah and the Meaning of Life: Michael Laitman’s Personal Blog

Question: What does it mean to “speak with the Creator?”
Answer: To “speak with the Creator” primarily means to do everything you can to try to reveal His image within you. Try to imagine: He is the reason for everything I feel. My thoughts, desires, and sensations are all Him, the One who has laid my foundation and forms me.
When I decide that my current reality is established by Him, then how do I treat everything that happens to me? There are two possibilities:
1. Directly structure my attitude towards my inner reality as my attitude towards Him. But this approach is inaccurate, incorrect, and unstable. There is no ability to test or verify it because I will surely be guided by my ego and err.
2. At first, I strengthen myself through my connection with others like me, and then I structure my attitude towards the inner reality by passing its image through this connection. In this case, I am definitely already in some quality of bestowal, and my qualities are adapted to the Creator’s image. Thus, instead of changing the image, I change my attitude towards it. This is what it means to “speak with the Creator.”

Freedom From Egoism Merges Time Into One Instant

Freedom From Egoism Merges Time Into One Instant

Modern science, biology, psychology and all forms of human research bring us to the understanding that time, space, motion and one’s picture of reality are all relative perceptions and notions.

Many people are beginning to speak of this, and the Internet is overflowing with articles on the subject, with some even being close to the truth. Truly the human mind has come to the very boundary between the two worlds.

Of course, scientists cannot properly envision the spiritual, but the readiness to perceive it is already beginning to be revealed.

This is why it is becoming easier to explain the notion of time in the spiritual. Although at first it appears to be absolute, it is a relative concept, since it stems from one’s perception of life, like the ticking clock or the beat of the pulse. Sometimes time “flies” and sometimes it “drags.”

Spaces are discovered in the cosmos where time stops; there’s even talk of areas where time actually flows backwards. There are stars that don’t emit radiation but rather absorb it.  What does that mean to the flow of time?

Time is a corporeal parameter which can be changed depending on the relationship between mass and speed.

In the spiritual space, the phenomena of time, place and motion exist in their true, absolute form, which, as they become understood, can also be applied to our world.

In the spiritual, as well as in our world, the correct assessment of time constitutes a number of actions that succeed one another. The key isn’t the length of these actions in time or the intervals of time between actions, but only the quantity of action.

Time is assessed only by the quantity of completed actions. If that quantity is high, then a lot of time has gone by; conversely, little time indicates few completed actions.

Man’s sensation of time comes to us from Klipot (egoistic desires). A Klipa draws out time like rubber from the point where cause and consequence (consecutive events) join as one. It divides them and inserts the sensation of an interval between them.

This sensation of an interval stems to us from a Klipa, our egoism, which wedges itself between cause and consequence, which is between occurrences. If we free ourselves of it, then this interval disappears and cause rejoins consequence, merging everything into one instant.

All of life is subject to the law of alternation

"All of life is subject to the law of alternation, which is the law of opposites. In the morning, light chases away night's shadows, and in the evening the shadows regain ground. Does this mean we can say that night is opposed to day and day to night? Yes and no. Yes, because light is the opposite of darkness, and no, because day and night work together to create and maintain life. Before a child comes into the world, it spends nine months hidden away in its mother's womb. For seeds to germinate, they have to remain underground for a certain time. And bees line their hive with wax, because they need the dark in order to make honey, and so on. Any number of different tasks are begun in the dark and only later see the light of day! Light and dark represent entities, currents, energies that nature uses for its work." Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov

You will understand what love truly is when you stop thinking of it as a feeling.

"You will understand what love truly is when you stop thinking ofit as a feeling. Feeling is necessarily subject to variation, depending on who it is meant for, while genuine love is a stateof consciousness independent of beings and circumstances. To love is not to have a feeling for someone but to live in loveand do everything with love - speak, walk, eat, breathe, studywith love... Love arises when we have brought all our organs, cells and faculties into a state of harmony, so that they vibratein unison in light and peace. So love is a permanent state ofconsciousness. Those who have attained this state ofconsciousness feel their whole being imbued with divine fluids, and everything they do is a melody."

What is the relationship between the serpent and the dove?

"What is the relationship between the serpent and the dove? They represent the two opposing aspects of the same energy - sexual energy. The dove is none other than the serpent sublimated. It teaches us that anything that crawls on the earth may one day be able to take to the air and fly.The serpent represents primitive sexual power, and it is very wily! As is written in Genesis: 'Now the serpent was more crafty than any other wild animal that the Lord God had made.' It is impossible to count all the possible means that humans resort to so as to escape the serpent, but it presents and arranges things in such a way that, more often than not, it ends up gaining the upper hand. Someone will say, 'There! I won't succumb to temptation, I'll resist...' But at the very last moment, having failed to foresee the trap the serpent could lay for them, they fall into it. And they will keep doing so until they succeed intransforming the serpent within into a dove, that is to say, in transforming human love into spiritual love, which will lift them away from the earth and allow them to know the freedom of infinite space."

Bouncing Up

Why does Man destroy? Why does he wreak havoc in the world?
This world was designed so that there is no progress forward without first a step backward. Night comes before day, pain before pleasure, confusion before wisdom.
But then God made man, who strives beyond the design of things, who yearns to leap past nature, to embrace the infinite.
Man, too, must first fall so that he can leap upward. But since his leap is beyond nature, he must first fall beneath it.
That is sin—a fall beneath nature.
And that is the power of return—to leap beyond nature.

It is in our difference that desires of all kinds come forth

Esther said to us, "Abraham, how come you guys (meaning nonphysical entities) can't get your stories straight? This one says this. That one says that. If we have been talking to God, why doesn't God say the same thing to everyone? Why isn't everybody getting the same message?" And we said, "Everybody isn't asking the same question. Everybody is not at the same point of understanding. Everybody is not even wanting the same thing." We are all about eternalness which means we are about difference. It is in our difference that desires of all kinds come forth, and as all of these new desires pop up, every one of them, even in their difference, is important.

All children cry when they are born, but not in the same way.

"All children cry when they are born, but not in the same way. Some are heard to make a touching, plaintive sound: they are expressing nostalgia for the region of light, joy and peace theyhave left. But at the same time they say, 'God's will be done!'and they accept in advance the trials that await them, whereasmany others cry in a desperate, tragic fashion, screamingrebelliously, for they feel like caged animals and already knowtheir life will be like a prison. The truth is that on earth no one is spared, just because it isearth and we are entering very particular conditions. So we haveto find the best means of avoiding being crushed by events, ofcontrolling them, instead, and making the best use of them forour evolution. Of course, we are not able straightaway to alterour reactions to what happens to us. We always begin by feelingperturbed, distressed, shocked. Yes, but once we have understoodthat these difficulties are necessary for our training, we becomemuch quicker and better at pulling ourselves together."

There are people who will carelessly drop pieces of glass on a path and not clear them up.

"There are people who will carelessly drop pieces of glass on a path and not clear them up. Someone else will clear it up, they think; never mind if they hurt themselves! And they go on their way... But what they don't know is that human destiny is not a straight line: its path is circular. So, one way or another, in this incarnation or the next, they will have to come back to the same place; that is, they will have to suffer the consequences of their action. The example of the broken glass is an image to show you that those who sow danger will one day themselves be its victims. If they have dug holes or set traps along the road, there is a law that will bring them back to those exact same spots to fall into the holes or the traps. Then they will have time to meditate on their misadventures, to complain about there being wicked, stupid people around and try to find out who they are! Obviously, it won't occur to them that they themselves did it! Anyone who lives their life constantly saying, 'Who cares what happens after I'm gone!' is creating all the difficulties that they will one day or other be saddled with."

All of Him

That force that holds electrons in their orbit and planets in theirs, explodes incessantly within the stars above and is the darkness that fills the empty space—-that force is a single whole and it is God.
It is not all of God. It is an expression of God. All of it
could disappear in a single instant, and for Him nothing would have changed. Where is it that you can find all of
God? Wherever He wishes to be found.
Right now, He hides within some scattered branches placed upon an autumn hut.

By means of heat, nature brings gold and other metals to maturity.

By means of heat, nature brings gold and other metals to
maturity. So gold is like the food a cook puts in the oven! But
whereas, in nature, gold forms very slowly, since the heat that
cooks it is very low, when it comes to our producing spiritual
gold, it is possible for us to proceed more rapidly by increasing
the heat. However, we should also take care not to burn
everything.
The trainee alchemist can be compared to the trainee cook, who
doesn't yet know how to gauge the heat: they either let the
dishes burn, or else the heat is so low they undercook them. In
order to carry the 'great work' through to a successful
conclusion and form the philosopher's stone within ourselves, we
must light the fire of love within and learn how to regulate it.
The process is accelerated by love, but love, like heat, also
requires great control; otherwise, with that too, we are likely
to burn everything. Love is the most terrible fire there is, if
you do not know how to master it; this is why it must always be
tempered by wisdom. The philosopher's stone is that state of
divine consciousness attainable only through love and wisdom."
