Constant Bonding

Matter and energy are two opposites. To energize a piece of matter requires a constant flow.
Existence and nothingness are two opposites. To keep the world in existence demands a constant renewal.
Heaven and earth are two opposites. To infuse the earthly with spirituality requires a constant effort.
Woman and man are two opposites. And so the marriage ceremony never ends.

To be happy, it is not enough to have a family, friends, a job and leisure.

"To be happy, it is not enough to have a family, friends, a job
and leisure. The proof is the number of people there are you
might consider privileged but who are not happy! Why? Because
they do not know how to respond to their soul’s needs. The soul
needs to live in immense, infinite, limitless space. And yet,
humans continually constrict their soul, fetter it and stifle it;
they want it to make do with trifles – a little material success,
a little pleasure, a little gossip… Then, the soul suffers and
complains to them: ‘I want to be free, and you, with your
ordinary, petty occupations and worries, keep me in fetters. I am
a daughter of God, space is my element, I need to expand into the
vastness of heaven.’
So, for at least a few minutes, experience allowing your soul to
soar up and expand in space. Allow it to escape, to the point
where it merges with the whole universe. And then you will know
the meaning of happiness."

The Other's World

In your world, all that exists is the Infinite and you.
In the world of your neighbor, all that exists is the Infinite and him. And his world is just as true as yours.

In the world of a cow, there's just the Infinite and it. So with an insect, so with a plant, so even with a rock.
Every seat of consciousness constitutes a world. And each world is true.
Knowing this is also part of your world:
The knowledge that in the other person's world you are only an accessory, an interface by which he connects.
And now you know how to enter his world.

The Child

The ultimate prayer is the prayer of the small child.
You pray to some lofty concept of The Infinite Light or The Essence of Being...
But the child doesn't have any concept. Just G-d.
When you open your eyes in the morning, you are a newborn child.
Then and there you meet G-d face to face.

As you awaken and your brain becomes engaged,
keep the child with you.

What we do for God we also do for ourselves

"We must love and seek God, not for ourselves but for him, like
sons or daughters who find all their joy in taking part in their
father and mother’s activities.
When Jesus taught us to pray using the words ‘Our Father in
heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be
done on earth as it is in heaven’, he gave us precisely the
programme we have to achieve. We must sanctify the name of God
within, draw heaven down into ourselves and do his will, as the
angels in heaven do. What we do for God we also do for ourselves,
since we are in him and he is in us."

So long as they are young and in good health, people never think about the principle of disintegration

"So long as they are young and in good health, people never think
about the principle of disintegration at work inside them, which
will eventually prevail. They tend to think the world belongs to
them and the future will never stop smiling on them. How
disappointed they are when they feel everything beginning to
elude them on the physical plane! In the merciless struggle
taking place between the principles of life and of death, there
are those who want to hold onto life by any means possible, with
the result that they may act in the most senseless ways, throwing
all the resources into the battle that they should be using for
their spiritual work, and then they lose everything.
We did not come down to earth to remain young and healthy
forever but as a training, an apprenticeship. The wise person
knows the bends in the road and strives to make use of
everything. In the spiritual world, upward progress is
continuous. Down here, whatever we do, we will gradually see our
forehead and cheeks become wrinkled, our hair grow white, our
teeth fall out, and so on. But you must understand that the outer
appearance is of no importance when radiant spiritual life shines
through the white hair and the wrinkles."
