‘My kingdom is not from this world.’

"When Jesus was led before Pilate to be judged, Pilate asked him,

Jesus had no worldly ambition. For him true royalty was the
royalty of heaven; he did not confuse human glory with divine
glory, nor did he confuse temporal possessions with spiritual
possessions. This comes up again in the episode where the
Pharisees question him about the payment of taxes to Caesar; he
merely replies, ‘Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and
to God the things that are God’s.’

Le discernement

Le discernement apporte une attitude de respect et d'ouverture. Celui qui est privé de cette vertu est sans cesse dans l'analyse ou se tient en permanence sur ses gardes, dans la méfiance. Paradoxalement, il se coupe alors lui-même de tous les mondes qui l'entourent. Celui qui possède le discernement est capable de percevoir les êtres et les choses tels qu'ils sont. Rien n'est dangereux, car tout est vu et détecté. Celui qui n'a pas de discernement est sans cesse alimenté par le monde qui l'entoure, sans même le savoir.
