on lying

If you feel drawn to someone, but you are annoyed because you think that they are telling you some lies, try to look beyond the lies and try to focus upon the feeling. People offer all kinds of words for all kinds of different reasons. Most lies are offered to try to keep things in alignment. We're not encouraging it, but the motive behind lying is usually a pretty honorable motive. In other words, when a child lies to their parents, it's usually because they want to be free to do what they want to do, and they don't want their parents to be upset about it. It's about wanting an alignment. Physical ears have a hard time hearing this. You keep talking about "We need to be honest." And we say, we don't meet any of you who are honest. Even those who claim to be the most virtuous, are not honest, but your vibration always is. We would trust the feeling more than the words.

When you decide to embrace the spiritual life, the change you bring about will be only an inner one.

"When you decide to embrace the spiritual life, the change you bring about will be only an inner one. On the outside, your life will continue as before: you are in a particular family, social and professional setting, and the problems you face will remain the same. You are also in a physical body, which is more or less healthy, and you are not suddenly going to be in glowing health.

Let's just take health as an example. There are physical

weaknesses that can soon be remedied with a healthier lifestyle supported by a better way of thinking. But there are also illnesses that are incurable, because they have their origin in the distant past and are, therefore, deeply embedded in your organism. The new life you have decided to lead will only give you better ways of coping with your weakened physical state and sow in you the seeds for future improvement; it will not heal you. You must be clear about all this."

"As spirits, human beings have not yet really taken possession of their physical body. They drag it around, they are weighed down by it, crushed by it, sometimes even stifled by it, but it cannot be said they have settled into it, for it is not a dwelling that is worthy of them. So, in the meantime, the spirit (or rather, what is considered the spirit) walks around with the body, like a right pair, stumbling around, arm in arm... You'll say, 'What a sight!' Well, yes, human beings are indeed quite a sight all the while they are unaware of what their spirit and their body represent and of the work they both have to do together. 

But since you know what this work is, do your best to free the divine principle within you, so that it can rise as high as possible and, on its way back down, purify and illuminate its dwelling-place. Your physical body, along with your astral and mental bodies, is the dwelling through which your spirit must one day be able to manifest."

Pour les humains, la difficulté est que bien souvent chacun vit dans son monde

Pour les humains, la difficulté est que bien souvent chacun vit dans son monde, avec son point de vue, sa conviction, son opinion, sa vérité. Chacun pense posséder l'attitude et la réponse justes pour tout le monde et pour tous les mondes. En fait, chaque point de vue devient vrai dans le monde dans lequel il est appliqué. Les hommes s'isolent ainsi les uns des autres et ne se comprennent plus. Chacun a raison et part de son côté, gardant avec lui la ferme conviction qu'il est dans le vrai et le juste. Chacun vit dans des régions différentes avec une vision et une compréhension spécifiques, mais ce n'est pas forcément la vision de l'intelligence supérieure.
