You are used to taking life as it comes

"You are used to taking life as it comes, never suspecting that
events are a substance you need to prepare, just as you prepare
food by cooking it and adding certain ingredients to it – oil,
vinegar, salt, pepper, and so on. And, in the same way, you do
not eat fish as they are, straight from the sea, or vegetables as
they are, straight from the earth.
So cooking is the art of making all kinds of produce edible,
delicious even, which would otherwise be indigestible or bland if
you did not take care to clean them, cook them and season them.
And it is the same with happiness. Happiness is the result of a
whole process of inner cooking. Life’s good moments do not
present themselves spontaneously, and you do not pick them the
way you pick a ripe fruit from the tree on your way by. You must
learn to work on each situation, particularly on the difficult,
painful ones, adding elements from your spirit and your soul –
elements of divine wisdom and love."

Beyond I

The primordial blunder was the discovery of self.
The first man and woman in the Garden of Eden ate of the Tree of Knowledge and realized that they exist. Ever since then, that self-consciousness has been the root of every disaster.
Every "I" and "me", every sense of being is a denial of the Oneness of the Creator and the creation. It is a statement that there is something else, namely me, and I am autonomous from all this.
The goal of mankind is to reach beyond the state of Adam and Eve in the Garden --to a state where any sense of ego is meaningless. A place called Eden, which is beyond the Garden, the place of Essential Being from where all delights flow... "And a river went out from Eden to water the Garden."
And now you know why they ate of the fruit to begin with.

Ego

We are all prisoners. But we sit on the keys.
Finitude is our cell.
The universe is our prison.
Our jailkeeper is the act of being.

The keys to liberation are clenched tightly in the fists of our own egos.

Everyone is curious to know about their future

"Everyone is curious to know about their future, it is only
natural, but do they have to go and consult clairvoyants to find
out about it? I would say not, for it is very easy to guess one's
future. If you love everything that is great, noble, just and
beautiful, and you work with all your heart, all your mind and
all your will to achieve it and make it a reality, your future is
already mapped out for you: one day you will live in conditions
that match your ideal - in peace, freedom and light. That is all
you need to know about your future.
Of course, you may not know what your profession will be, who
you will meet, how much money you will gain or lose, what
illnesses, accidents or successes you will have... But none of
that is very important, because it is transient and can be given
to you and taken away again. When you leave the earth, all that
will truly remain is what matches the aspirations of your soul
and spirit."

Self-Surrender

They think self surrender means to say, "I have no mind. I have no heart. I only believe and follow, for I am nothing."
This is not self-surrender - this is denial of the truth. For it is saying there is a place where Godliness cannot be -namely your mind and your heart.
God did not give you a brain that you should abandon it, or a personality that you should ignore it. These are the building materials from which you may forge a sanctuary for Him, to bring Divine Presence into the physical realm.
Don't run from the self with which God has entrusted you. Connect your entire being to its Essential Source. Permeate every cell with the light of self-surrender.

A birth is none other than a transition from the invisible to the visible

"A birth is none other than a transition from the invisible to the
visible, from the immaterial to the material, from thought to
manifestation. In our body, it is the moon, the archetype of the
feminine, that presides over all forms of incarnation. In winter,
the period during which the nights are longest and the life of
nature slows down, conditions are less favourable for outward
manifestation but more favourable, on the other hand, for inner
life: human beings feel the urge to go within themselves to
prepare the birth of the child of light, which is represented in
some traditions by the symbol of the pearl. The pearl, coming as
it does from the sea, is, like the sea, related to the moon.
On the sephirotic tree, the pearl oyster is Yesod, the sephirah
where the moon is found. In the cosmic body, Yesod represents the
genital organs. That is where the pearl must be formed. This
pearl represents the purest quintessence of love. The pearl
oyster is the feminine principle, which brings a pearl, the
divine child, into the world."

For a seed to produce a tree, there are four necessary conditions

"For a seed to produce a tree, there are four necessary
conditions: it must be placed in soil, watered, allowed to have
air and provided with warmth and light from the sun. So, the four
elements are present here: earth, water, air and fire. As the
roots burrow down into the soil, a small stem comes up to form a
trunk, and this trunk splits into branches, which grow buds. When
the buds burst open, leaves and flowers appear, and the flowers
produce fruit. Finally, with the seeds from the fruit, we come
full circle.
Everything in the universe, in its own way, goes through the
same phases - roots, stem, branches, leaves, flowers, fruit,
seeds - and this sequence of phases is what we call life.
Depending on the created beings in question and which realms or
planes they appear in, some processes are longer, others shorter.
The remarkable thing about trees, particularly fruit trees, is
that these processes are invariably repeated year after year, the
four seasons being the four stages of the process. To emphasize
the importance of these stages, the initiatic tradition placed
each one under the influence of an archangel: Raphael rules
spring, Uriel summer, Michael autumn and Gabriel winter."

Small Things

Great things are not what is demanded from our generation. The previous generations did all that for us. We need only do the small things --but in a more difficult time.
For us, self-sacrifice could mean nothing more than a simple change of habit.

Deliberate Light

The sun rises anew every morning, and every moment we rely upon it to keep shining. So too, the Creator renews His creation into being and life with a continual flow of energy.
There is a distinction, however: The sun supports life spontaneously. It is not concerned, nor interested -- nor even aware of the blade of grass that grows from its warmth and light. It is only being itself -- a giant atom crusher in the sky -- and we benefit here on earth.
Creation, on the other hand, is intentional. Every step along the way is a deliberate act, every detail is with intimate concern, every event is judged, decided and accounted for. He vitalizes each thing not only with His light -- but, like an artist, with His entire Being.
And yet, He remains unchanged -- like the sun above, and infinitely more so. Immanent, yet transcendent. For He knows no bounds.
Be as the Infinite Light:
Be within, stay beyond.

Fearless

The pain is real. The fear is not.
The pain is real, because we are not in our place. Nothing is in its place. It is called exile, and so there is pain. It is that angst of being in the wrong place that lifts us higher, beyond this place.
The fear is not real, because no matter where we are, our God is still with us.The only thing we have to fear is that we may no longer feel the pain.
T. Freeman

Our physical body is composed of a multitude of cells

"Our physical body is composed of a multitude of cells, and each
of these cells is a living entity, a minute intelligent soul that
knows how to breathe, take in food and eliminate. Look at how the
cells of the stomach, liver, sexual organs, heart or brain work -
each one is a specialist. And this intelligence is simply the sum
of the intelligences of all these little living beings. We are
dependent on them and they on us - we are one.
Human beings can do nothing without the consent of their cells.
The moment their cells stop working, stop contributing to the
efficient running of their body, they are no longer able to
breathe, to be nourished, to move or think. And protesting won't
make any difference. So they have to understand that they are the
synthesis of all these minute intelligent souls within, and that
they have to take good care of them every day."

Apprends à être vrai

Apprends à être vrai, authentique, sincère, clair en toi-même. Il est impossible d'être vrai sans l'éveil de la conscience et de la vie intérieure. Anxiety and agitation

"Anxiety and agitation set up the worst conditions for the
thinking process, and so, when you have an important problem to
solve, you should begin by calming down. Quieten down inside
yourself, and try to lift yourself as high as possible, for that
is where the light is. When you feel you have been able to reach
something of a peak, ask the question that is on your mind and
wait.
Of course, to begin with, the answer will come to you with
varying degrees of clarity; it may be just a vague feeling that
is difficult to put into words, but it will nevertheless give you
a clue. So, don't give up. Repeat the process as many times as is
necessary. Ask the question again, and soon you will feel some
clarity and inner certainty; then there will be no more doubt,
and you will know how you must act. But you should know that the
clearness and accuracy of the answers you receive will depend on
your spiritual development."

Whichever world creatures belong to -

"Whichever world creatures belong to - the mineral, vegetable,
animal or human - they all have consciousness, but how distant
this consciousness is from their body depends on their degree of
evolution. It is furthest away in minerals, which is why they are
in a state of complete inertia. The consciousness of plants lies
at the centre of the earth, so, if we want to be able to speak to
them and get them to understand us and act for us, that is where
we must try to reach them. Animals do not have an individual
consciousness but a collective consciousness outside of
themselves, and each species has a group soul controlling it. The
fact, for example, that they have a mating season, a time for
laying eggs, for migrating, for moulting, and so on, means they
obey an external group soul, to which they belong.
As for humans, they are the only ones to possess an individual
consciousness, which is why they are beings that think and are
free."

Before Dawn

They say the most profound darkness comes just before the dawn. The harshest oppression of our forefathers in Egypt came just before their liberation.
That was a coarse darkness of slavery of the body. Today it is a darkness of the soul, a deep slumber of the spirit of Man. There are sparks of light, glimmerings of a sun that never shone before --but the darkness of night overwhelms all.
Prepare for dawn.

Darkness With Hope

There are dark jewels in this world that can be salvaged, purified and taken as precious bounty for the good.
And there is darkness itself, the essential absence of light, that must only wait its time to expire.
How can we tell between them?
If the darkness fights back, there is hope.
It means there is something there worth fighting for.

Staying Above

Your true place is a place of light. Even if you find yourself in the midst of darkness and sorrow, you must remember this is not your home.
Your essential self lies in an inseverable bond with the Source of Light. From there it extends a glimmer of itself below to illuminate the darkness.

Conjuring Miracles

When we break free from our nature and transcend our ego, nature is given permission to transcend itself—including the laws of physics and the karmic laws of cause and effect. The Israelites jumping into the Red Sea is a glorious example—they went ahead with such certainty that the Sea changed its nature, which is to flow, and parted. Remember this example when you use this secret for conjuring miracles.

Infinite Light

A strong light is hostile to the eyes. An intense light will burn and destroy. An immense body of light will vaporize anything, turning molecules to atoms, atoms to particles, particles to energy.
An infinite light, however, knows no bounds. It can go anywhere and enter any place. Nothing can say to infinity, "I cannot bear you! You are too powerful for me!"-for, if so, that would be a limitation on the infinite.
That is the name the Kabbalists call God-the Infinite Light. No place is too small, no moment too insignificant, for the Infinite Light to belong.

From the perspective of physical anatomy

"From the perspective of physical anatomy, humans have two eyes,
two ears and one mouth. But from the perspective of spiritual
anatomy, they have three eyes, three ears and two mouths,
corresponding to the three planes - the physical, the psychic and
the spiritual. The third eye, the mystic eye, is in the centre of
the forehead. The third ear is in the throat. The second mouth is
at the top of the head: this is the sahasrara chakra, the
thousand-petalled lotus, and with this second mouth we can speak
and eat in the spiritual regions. Prayer and communion are simply
ways of speaking and nourishing oneself in the divine world.
As for our planet, the earth, it too has organs like ours. High
mountains are its higher mouth, for the earth uses its greatest
peaks to communicate with heaven."

Light Power

All that came into being...
...all the created worlds and all the ethereal entities that live in them, even the worlds that are mere emanations without tangible substance, even the worlds of thought and beyond to the realms of infinite light that preceded Creation...
--all this came to be only as a result of the thought of you, the earthly being, struggling in a world that only a infinitesimal glimmer of G-dliness has reached in its purity, bringing light where light could not be.
And so it follows, that with one simple act of beauty, all those worlds and realms of light find their purpose fulfilled, and so shine yet brighter--and reciprocate with a burst of illumination into our lowly world.
That is why the entire creation can be transformed with one simple, sincere deed.
Never underestimate the power of light.
T.Freeman

The Path of Light

When He made the world, He made two ways to repair each thing: With harshness or with compassion. With a slap or with a caress. With darkness or with light.
And He looked at the light and saw that it was good. Darkness and harsh words may be necessary. But He never called them good.
Even if you could correct another person with harsh words, the One Above receives no pleasure from it. When He sees his creatures heal one another with caring and with kindness, that is when He shines His smile upon us.

Since they are attached to the ground, plants are obliged to put up with heat, cold, wind and storms

"Since they are attached to the ground, plants are obliged to put
up with heat, cold, wind and storms. These are certainly
difficult conditions, but they grow and produce flowers all the
same. And their colours are so beautiful and their fragrance so
pleasant!
People on a spiritual path are, symbolically, exposed to the
same difficult conditions as plants. And yet these conditions are
far preferable to those chosen by lazy people, who stay safely in
their 'lofts'. Of course, in a loft seeds won't be exposed to bad
weather, but they run other much worse risks: they might go
mouldy, be eaten up by mice or maggots or, worst of all, not be
put to good use. And being useless is the worst fate there is.
Once planted in the spiritual life, humans meet with obstacles,
but at least they are on the right path: they grow, they stand up
for themselves and they create."

Transformation

When light pushes away the darkness, eventually another darkness shall come.

When the darkness itself is transformed into light, it is a light that no darkness can oppose.

Where the Answers Live

Think about a time in your life when you were so sure something was supposed to happen and then it didn’t happen. You got upset, frustrated, angry.

Forget about the fact that when we look back three years later we see that same outcome as the best thing that ever happened to us.

If things don’t go according to our plan, we need to be able to detach enough to recognize that we’re probably not seeing the whole picture. When we adopt a letting-go attitude we take off our blinders. Then it’s easier to tap into the realm where all the answers are; where everything we need exists.

When we are so busy functioning in the fog of our 1% physical reality we often don’t think about going to the world beyond—the 99%—to access full information. And that’s why, no matter how smart we are we just can’t come up with the answer.

There is a place in our consciousness where we can know the outcome of every situation. Probably every one of us has sensed this. But a lot of times we get stuck seeing what’s only in the physical realm, instead of trying to tap into the knowledge in the higher realm.

(.....)

If you’re stuck in the 1% Realm you can’t get all the answers. But when you go to the 99% Realm you have access to all the information you need.

We either live in the world of questions or we live in the world of answers. We either live in a world with no information or in a world with all of the information. For everyone on a spiritual path the point is to leave the world of questions, of uncertainty, of pain and suffering. We want to have access to the world of answers—the world of dreams.

It’s a choice: Which universe do we want to live in?

Y. Berg

Most humans have such limited notions of love

"Most humans have such limited notions of love that the moment a
man and woman meet they forget the whole world; nothing else
exists for them. They are not yet used to living love in a
broader way, and they impoverish it, mutilate it. It is no longer
divine love, the love that pours forth and showers all beings.
True love is a love that embraces all creatures without limiting
itself, without putting down roots next to any one. This is why
men and women should now be taught to have broader concepts, to
be less possessive and jealous: the husband must be delighted to
see his wife open her heart to the whole world, and the wife also
must be happy that her husband is so bighearted. It doesn't stop
them from staying faithful to each other. When two truly evolved
people marry, right from the beginning they allow each other this
mutual freedom. Each delights in being able to love all creatures
with the greatest purity. The wife understands her husband, the
husband his wife, and they both rise, walking together toward
heaven, for they live the true, boundless life."

Whenever chemists combine metals and minerals

"Whenever chemists combine metals and minerals to create alloys,
they are able to reverse the process later, using certain
procedures to undo what was previously combined. But alchemists
claim they know of a mineral and a metal which combine to
mutually absorb each other, producing the basis for the substance
from which the philosopher's stone is extracted, and that this
matter can no longer be broken down, as the combination is
irreversible.
This theory can only be understood when transposed to another
context. A child comes into the world as the result of the
encounter between its father and mother. But, now, how do you
break this child down, so to speak, to get back to its father on
the one hand and its mother on the other? It is impossible. The
child is a new entity, the product of a combination, which cannot
be undone so as to get back to its two parents. Thus, the
philosopher's stone is the child born of a mystic union."
